JÖRG KAMPMEYER

GENERAL PARTNER AND CHAIRMAN OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD

Jörg Kampmeyer has been acting as General Partner and Chairman of the Management Board of the Knauf Group since January 2026. He is responsible for the Business Area Gypsum EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa). In addition, he oversees the Group Functions Digital/Commercial Excellence and Communications & Brand. After graduating with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, he started his career as a management consultant with Roland Berger GmbH and Boston Consulting Group. In 2002, he joined Hilti, where he held various executive positions in corporate development, marketing and general management. In 2011, he was appointed to the Executive Board of the Hilti Group. In January 2020, Jörg Kampmeyer joined the Knauf Group as a General Partner.

DR. UWE KNOTZER

GENERAL PARTNER

Dr Uwe Knotzer joined the Knauf Group in June 2021 as General Partner. He is responsible for the Business Areas Gypsum Americas and Insulation. Furthermore, he oversees the Group Functions of Technology/Innovation Gypsum and Engineering Gypsum.
After completing his degree in Process Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur) at the Graz University of Technology, Dr Knotzer started his professional career as a university assistant at the Chair of Paper, Pulp, and Fiber Technology, where he also completed his doctorate. In 2002, Dr Knotzer started with Voith Paper, where he held various leading positions, until he became a Member of the Management Board at Voith Paper and the President of Business Line Products and Services in 2012. From 2015 onward, he was a Member of the Group Executive Board at the Voith Group and Chairman of the Management Board at Voith Turbo.

DR. KRISTIN NEUMANN

GENERAL PARTNER

Dr Kristin Neumann joined the Knauf Group as General Partner in September 2025. She is responsible for the Group Functions Finance & Controlling, Corporate Development, Human Resources, Legal/Compliance, Audit, IT, and SAP Transformation.
After completing a banking apprenticeship, she earned her degree in Business Administration and her doctorate at the University of Göttingen, Germany. Dr Neumann started her professional career in 2000 at Thomas Cook, where she advanced to become Head of Controlling and CFO for Continental Europe and the UK. In 2014, she joined LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG, where she held the dual roles of Group CFO and Director of Human Resources. From 2022 to 2025, she served as CFO at Brenntag SE. Since July 2021, Dr Neumann has also been a Member of the Supervisory Board of Zeppelin GmbH.

MURAT AKYILDIZ

GENERAL PARTNER

Murat Akyildiz has been acting as General Partners of the Knauf Group since January 2026. He is responsible for the Business Area Gypsum APAC (Asia-Pacific) and for Knauf Industries. Furthermore, he oversees the Group Function Raw Material Supply.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Bosphorus University in Istanbul in 1993, Murat Akyildiz started his international career at Procter & Gamble where he worked in various marketing, sales and managing director roles around the world. In 2016, he joined Pirelli Tyre Company where he served as region CEO for Europe, Middle East & Africa, Americas; and as Global Chief Commercial Officer, in the commercial tyre division which later became Prometeon. Since September 2021, he was in charge for Knauf’s operations in MEASA (Middle East, Africa, and South Asia).
